As you may have guessed by now, MY is Michael & Yvonne. The concept of MY Sailing Adventure is just that - as you say it to yourself -
"my" adventure. We want to give you what you have envisioned for your holiday in Greece.

By sailing as a means to go island hopping, the experience is relaxed, leisurely and schedule free. Escape the ferries, taxis and hotels. Come aboard, unpack and make yourself at home on the yacht for the next week or two. While in the island ports, come and go from the boat as you please.

The adventure, is that this is a real sailing experience. You are the crew, so the opportunity to take the helm and do a bit of sailing is all part of the fun. If you’ve never sailed before, here’s your chance to learn the ropes. Of course, no one is obligated; only if you feel like getting into it.
The beauty of sailing, to go from island to island, is the peaceful serenity and breathtaking views while sunbathing on deck with a cool drink; and the chance to sneak into a cute little cove for a refreshing snorkel and swim in the amazing pristine blue water for which the Aegean has rightfully gained its reputation.

We are a small owner-operated team, so you get that personal attention. We not only are there helping you plan your trip every step of the way, but we are also there sailing with you as your hosts. This is what sets us apart from traditional yacht chartering. We are more personal, accommodating and inclusive than a bareboat-with- skipper; and smaller than your chatered yachting tour with the white uniformed crew.

Michael is a licensed skipper who is Greek/Australian, born and raised on the island of Kalymnos, a beautiful island which we will visit. Being with a local, our guests’ experience is enhanced from the perks that being with a Greek skipper can offer. Not only is speaking the native language a benefit, but knowing the local waters, ports and anchorages is quite helpful. We also can suggest sites to see; organize bike, scooter or jeep rentals; and joining us for dinner assures that you will receive the best in Greek hospitality and the finest meals.

Yvonne is the coordinator of the team and was born and raised in the U.S., currently residing in Southern California. Having the experience in organizing events and being a savvy hostess, the personal attention you will receive is unmatched.
With a varied background of careers in the hospitality industry, corporate business and coordinating productions, I have the skill to bring people together and show them a good time; as well as mix up a tasty cocktail for the cruise! We like to have fun, so the atmosphere is easy going and stress free. Greek style!

We will email and talk with you to answer any questions as you plan your trip. You will get to know us before ever leaving home, so you can feel comfortable knowing we have a good idea of the preferences of your dream vacation. Then we’ll be there on the dock to greet you as you come aboard!
